Wow, last night was awsome. There was a competition of epic proportions that went on last night for nearly 2 and a 1/2 hours. The Ft. Collins ‘Rock’ vs. The Greeley ‘O2′ in a battle of who knows the most bible verses. My church, the Greeley church, has been doing a program called ‘Memory Madness.’ It was a program designed to help younger children learn and memorize bible passages, but it a profound impact on our whole church. Now, anyone from 3 years of age, to the oldest person in our church can be apart of this program. Sadly, I have not taken advantage of this program, I am a bum. I have no excuse, because all the good ones are taken already.
Anyway, last night (by the way, last night is Friday, December 1) was definately a night to remember. The Ft. Collins ‘Rock’ did end up beating The Greeley ‘O2′ with a score of 160 to a score of 150. The last 15 minutes of the competition where definately the most tense.
I have no real lesson, or thoughts, or even any complaints. I know, it is very hard to believe. I just want to say, that if you have the opportunity to take advantage of such a program, that you should take advantage of it. It will help you keep Gods perfect word close to your Heart.
